Dave Jackson has a never ending passion for adventure and knowledge whether he is traveling abroad or at home. Dave learned to love trvelling early on with his family throughout the US, Mexico, and Canada. During high school Dave was itching for a change of pace from his home town in Orange County, and left to attended UC Santa Cruz where he fell in love with deer, squirrels, and his life and travel partner Jessica. Dave and Jessica have since embarked on one adventure after the next. Studying in Germany and travelling through Europe and the US together strengthened their passion for travel. After graduation the two packed their life on their backs and went on a year adventure through over 18 countries around the planet.

Abroad, Dave developed his writing skills blogging about his adventures. He was constantly studying the language and culture of each country he visited, with a superb skill at communicating with locals regardless of the language barrier. Zipping through the chaotic streets of Asia on a rented motorbike, it didn't matter if he was out of food, water, and lost, with the sun setting, Dave would push on if he thought something beautiful and unique lay around the corner.
