Jessica contracted the travel bug at an early age flying across the pond every year to see family in Germany. Side trips to France, Czech, Italy, Austria, and throughout Germany gave her just a taste of the beauty and culture that exists in the world. In college she met Dave, who would follow her to the ends of the earth, and did. From studying and traveling in Germany together, road trips around the United States, and a one year trip around the world.
What Jessica misses most when she travels is gardening, family, burritos, and cooking. For inspiration in the kitchen she tastes every local dish she can while abroad, and somehow manages to avoid getting sick no matter how dubious the food source. Jessica has always been a skilled photographer, but with practice taking thousands of shots around the world she has turned a fun hobby into an art form. Living out of a backpack for a year came so easily to this girl it was scary. She is driven and adventurous, yet easy-going, organized, and collected. Nothing seems to stress her out; even stuck in a storm in the middle of nowhere, hungry, and lost is just another exciting adventure for this spirited human being.
